Preschool
MUMC provides quality child care and education through its Child Development Center (CDC).
The objective of CDC is to offer an excellent educational Christian experience for infants, toddlers and preschool children in a weekday church school. This experience will provide an atmosphere and environment that will encourage development of the whole child physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
The CDC accepts children ages 2 months to 5 years old. The schedule of care follows the AISD calendar and begins in September and continues through May. During the summer months, classes are held four days per week for an eight-week session.
For more information and current fees you may call the CDC director, Leigh Anne Moore at (512) 280-2552 or email us.
CDC After School Care
Our Child Development Center offers after school care for the students in kindergarten through fifth grade from Menchaca Elementary School. Teachers walk over with the children at 2:45 and are open until 6:15 p.m.
The program is housed in our Fellowship Hall, and the children enjoy a snack, playground time and a variety of indoor activities. Daily homework time is also observed.
The cost is $250 per month per child. Drop-ins are accepted on a space-available basis. Applications are available at the church office. For more information, contact Denise Marks, at (512) 292-9577 from 2:45-6:15 p.m. or email us.
