What is Worship like at MUMC?

Whether you feel most comfortable in a traditional service or a casual praise worship service we have a place for you!

We offer both traditional (8:30 AM and 11:00 AM) and praise worship (11:00 AM) services each Sunday morning. We celebrate who God is and what God is doing in our lives and community each time we gather to worship. Whether you enjoy singing traditional hymns and choir anthems or modern music with a band, the message of hope and love found in Scripture is the focus of each service.

Casual Praise Worship

The casual praise service, called Life on the Road, meets in the Family Life Center building located behind the main building just on the other side of the large covered drop off area in the West parking lot.

Traditional Worship

The traditional services meet in the Sanctuary which is on the Northeast side of the main building. If you park on the East side of the building, and enter through the double doors, the Sanctuary is right there. If you park on the West side, enter through the double doors under the overhang on the North end of the building.

You'll find greeters who smile a lot at every entrance who will help you find your way!

Contemplative Worship

Each Wednesday morning beginning at 6:00 AM in the sanctuary, a small but faithful group of folks gather to meditate.  This offers a wonderful way to start your day focused and centered on God.  There is soft lighting, candlelight and music to encourage reflection and meditation.  You are welcome to come and go as you wish until 6:30 AM.  Please feel free to stay and visit over a cup of coffee in the hospitality area following your prayer time.
