On Sunday, September 22, Manchaca United Methodist Church celebrated its 150 Anniversary with a special worship service followed by a lunch for the whole congregation.
If you missed the service or want to watch it again, you can do so here.
The worship was combined in the Sanctuary. There were special performances from a variety of the musical groups in the church: Glory Bells, Sanctuary Choir, Such as These (featuring many members of the congregation), and the Men's Quartet.
The church also celebrated two baptisms.
The message was presented by Dr. Marcus Freeman, the district superintendent. His message was about keeping the light of Christ shining in us and through us as we love and serve our community.
We are so grateful for everyone who participated in this service, from those who prepared a special presentation to those who attended. Thank you for celebrating 150 years of worship together!
