The team is actively pursuing conversations with neighboring businesses and churches as we use the “I-Spy” tool provided by the Rooted Good Futures resource group. We seek to know how Manchaca UMC may partner, collaborate, and understand current assets and needs near our church location.
Jen Troke produced the flyer attached below for team members to use in their work over the next six weeks. The team will meet again in mid-September with an eye toward future opportunities to create social enterprises.
The work of this task force continues until early in 2025 with ideas being shared with the Church Council at scheduled October and January meetings.
